Obviously I’m alive since a new post is going up, thank god for that! Overall it was actually a really good flight. It was filled with young students going on a school field trip and older couples. The food was pretty good and we had individual televisions at our seat. I can’t say I slept much but I did rest for about 2/3 of the flight and ‘woke up’ when the pilot announced we were starting our descent.
It really is amazingly nice in Paris in the Spring before the throngs of tourists take over. The weather is just perfect with the sun warming you up but a cool breeze preventing you from sweating. I think it’s even better when thinking about all the snow expected in Montreal 🙂 After a brief nap at the room, I went to visit the Jardins des Tuileries, Place de la Concorde and then walked les Champs d-Élysées. As I walked I had flashes of my last Paris trip and I realized just how out of it I was in 2010. This time I actually knew where I was going!
Tomorrow is the Eiffel Tower and perhaps the St-Sulpice church, oh and of course macarons! Yummy times up ahead.
Lol out of it, you say? 🙂 Glad you’re enjoying it the second time around!! Wish I were there with you!…
