Onwards to Seattle

This morning I headed back West to Seattle. This time we opted to take the Northern route and it was super scenic! After a fee pit stops, I got to Seattle for midday and headed straight for the EMP museum and the Space Needle. I wasn’t sure about the museum since it is a bit pricy (over 20$ per person) and I had read reviews that said it has not lived up to their expectations… Boy am I glad I went. There were a number of exhibits but the standout are found on the third floor of the museum. They have a sound studio where you can go inside small rooms and jam with keyboards, drums, and guitars. It’s just so much fun even if you don’t know the first thing about playing an instrument (like me!). You can also play live and experience being on stage with a simulated performance that is videotaped and shown afterwards. Since I suck at playing I opted for singing while my travel partner played the guitar. The song we selected was Wild Things. When I saw the playback and heard myself, I was crying from laughing so hard…. I am no rock star 🙁 Totally worth it though. Afterwards, it was off to the space needle for a quick over view of the city. I usually love towers like this, but for the price I was disappointed. I would recommend saving your money for another activity. Finally, I had dinner at a local diner where I tried Rabachacha (?). It was different and super yummy. Chilling out at the hostel now before heading to bed. Tomorrow I am heading out to the piers and trying some seafood.
