My 10 Carry-on Essentials

Flight Essentials

1. Hand sanitizer: Keeps the germs away and is a nice smell in case your neighbour hasn’t showered in a while…

2. Ear phones: Music and movies make the time go by faster especially on long-haul flights.

3. Snacks: Plane food sucks, we all know this fact.  So come prepared with snacks that won’t get confiscated at security.

4. Warm socks: My feet are freezing in sandals during the summer, and sweating in winter boots during the winter.  Fuzzy socks is the solution to both problems!

5. Lip balm: Because the plane air is so dry our entire body feels like a wrinkled date.

6. Book: When you’ve watched all the interesting movies and your ipad dies, a book is foul proof.

7. Headache medication: A lifesaver.

8. Pen: From filling in traveller declaration cards to jotting down the email of the cool new friend you made during a 12 hour flight, never be without one.

9. Travel pillow: A little luxury can go a long way to making the tiny airplane seats feel more comfortable.  I recommend getting an inflatable pillow so that it’s easy to store once you land.

10. Large scarf: A fashion accessory, a blanket, and a tent all at once.
