If you read my About page than you already know I am fan of Shakespeare and I have the goal of seeing a live production of each of his plays. Luckily each year the Montreal-based Repercussion Theater put together an edition of Shakespeare in the Park, where they present one of his plays. This year they are putting on the comedy, Twelfth Night. This is the hilarious story of mistaken identity, love, and pay-back. I attended the performance at Jeanne-Mance park and was not disappointed. The set was lovely with ornamental green shrubs and the actors did a wonderful job conveying the story with the fun lines and physical comedy. If you are planning on attending one of the upcoming performance (it is taking place until July 26), than definitely bring a chair with you and maybe a cover and bug spray! Also, take advantage of the informal outdoor venue to have a picnic with friends prior to the start of the show.
