Christmas is just around the corner and there is nothing like a traditional Christmas Market to get into the festive spirit. The city of Longueuil on the South Shore of Montreal puts together a market each year featuring local food and craft products. There is also lots to do for families with Santa Clause on-site, a train ride, and a games village. There are also outdoor fire pits and marshmallows on sale to roast along with a cup of hot chocolate. Another favorite of mine are the fresh apple maple donuts that are fried and served hot! Yum :). You can also participate in workshops on various art skills like calligraphy. Definitely an outing to add on your holiday schedule!
I love to support local producers so I picked some maple butter, sweet potatoe cake, and zucchini salsa. Perfect food products to serve guests over the holidays.
