Today we hosted our first children’s camp. They came from a group called Mobile Creche, which is a school that has children from construction workers’ families who are migrants. We had 15 girls and 15 boys. Overall, I think it went pretty well. In the morning we had round-robin activites where we did all physical stuff. In the afternoon, when it gets quite warm, we did arts and crafts. We finished off with a large dance party since these kids LOVE to dance to bollywood music. It is now break time before we come together to debrief. Tonight we are heading out to eat a restaurent that is NOT Indian for pizza, pasta and fries! I can’t believe I only have 2 days left before I move on to Delhi… It’s been lots of fun and pretty relaxing since I am not moving cities every second day.
