Children’s Camp Day 1

Today we hosted our first children’s camp. They came from a group called Mobile Creche, which is a school that has children from construction workers’ families who are migrants. We had 15 girls and 15 boys. Overall, I think it went pretty well. In the morning we had round-robin activites where we did all physical stuff. In the afternoon, when it gets quite warm, we did arts and crafts. We finished off with a large dance party since these kids LOVE to dance to bollywood music. It is now break time before we come together to debrief. Tonight we are heading out to eat a restaurent that is NOT Indian for pizza, pasta and fries! I can’t believe I only have 2 days left before I move on to Delhi… It’s been lots of fun and pretty relaxing since I am not moving cities every second day. I am uploading some random photos I got off someone elses camera. There is one in my tailored punjabi, a photo of my henna (2 actually so you can snag a peek at my sari), and a picture of Laxmi road (a market place). I will see if I can hunt down some more of me soon 🙂
