Tonight I decided that I wanted leech socks for the two days I am spending in the rainforest. To no ones surprise MEC did not have any in stock, I guess it’s the lack of rainforest in Canada. Luckily my mother is super handy with a sewing machine and found some old material that was perfect to make the socks. One hour later, I am the proud owner of leech socks. Check them out below! I also caved today and threw in my backpack a Maid of the Mist poncho… Free advertisement lol. But seriously I figured it would be perfect for a rainforest downpour. So I guess I am all set for tomorrow…
