That’s right… I am moving to Paris. I had the best day tasting some of the most popular French foods. Macarons from Pierre Herme – check, Stella Artois on a terasse – check, foie gras, lamb and red wine- check, check and check. The standout was the dessert au Grand Bistro tonight. I selected the assorted dessert plate which translated to a mini Mille-feuille, creme brûlée (lit at my place), chocolate mouse and BASIL ICE CREAM with sweet lemon supreme. It may sound gross but it was amazing! It was freshening and creamy, the perfect end to a meal. Other than doing some eating and drinking, I went to the Eiffel Tower today and went to the top for some panoramic views. Another beautiful sunny day in Paris. Tomorrow is a trip to the science museum and Notre-Dame church.
I’m glad you are loving Paris….seeing the last time you were there it felt so rushed! I agree, it is a beautiful city with lots to see and GREAT food! You are making me sooo jealous and hungry! Can’t wait for your next post:):)
