A Parisian day

After a late start to the day (remnants of Jet lag) I made it to the Cite des Science which is touted to be the largest science museum n Europe. I have to admit I was disappointed with the exhibits. Although I think it was because the sun was shining outside and I was sitting in a dark room learning about black holes! From there it was a metro ride to visit Notre-Dame Church complete with a crepe and eclair. No sightings of Quasimodo 😉 The final stop of the day was the Louvre museum for some pictures with the glass pyramid. Back in the room I made myself a lovely cheese platter complete with every stinky cheese available. So freakin good with rose wine and cured sausages. They are selling Cote de Rhone Cellier des Dauphin for 4 euros a bottle! Even more disturbing Gallo is also 4 Euros. We are really paying too much for wine in Quebec. Tonight I saw the Eiffel tour all lit up and now I am beginning to stress about the long flight tomorrow. I really don’t know how I will last 12hrs, luckily we have pretty good seats at the front of the plane with no one in the front of us. Next update will likely be in Kuala Lumpur, a whole world away from the quaint Parisian life so far!
