Yup, it’s been a few days I felt a little flu-ish and I finally got sick today. Leaky nose, sneezing, watery eyes… All that lovely stuff. I spent the better part of the day in bed, sleeping and blowing my nose. Finally at about 6pm I didn’t want to waste my whole day so I went to see the KL Menara tower. It use to be the highest one in Kuala Lumpur but now the Petronas towers are higher. The placement of the Petronas towers relative to the KL Menara is hilarious. Rather than build the Petronas so that they face the Menara for amazing photos, they are at a right angle. So you only see about 1 and 1/3. I swear they did it on purpose. We got there as the sun was setting so we got see the city in the day and night. Very nice views. For supper afterwards we caved and went to TGI Fridays for burgers. After eating inexpensive street food this was so much more expensive and not necessarily better. I still have a bunch of food I want to taste so tomorrow night I am going all out at the wet market. I am also doing my poster presentation tomorrow. Wish me luck!
No pictures for today, my phone was dead and we have so many electronics to charge and only one outlet.
Only one plug? That sucks. I can just imagine what it’s like!.. Hope you feel better soon & good luck with the presentation!
